Rasim Memic was born on December 20, 1989, in Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina). He completed his basic football education at his hometown club, Slaven Zivinice. In 2008, he decided to move to Austria to continue his school education and pursue his dream of becoming a professional footballer.
In sporting terms, Rasim reached the third-highest division in Austrian football, making most of his appearances for TUS Bad Gleichenberg and FC Gratkorn. Parallel to his active career, he completed a bachelor’s degree in 2015 and a master’s degree in sports science in 2017 at the University of Graz. He dedicated his master’s thesis to the development of young elite footballers and trends in their development. Additionally, he completed a diploma in football management and obtained the UEFA B coaching license.
In 2020, Rasim ended his active career to devote himself fully to his work as a scout and coach. Initially, he worked for TUS Bad Gleichenberg in the regional league before taking on the position of scout at SK Sturm Graz in August 2022. In this role, he was able to further deepen his football expertise and gain valuable experience. With SK Sturm Graz, he has won the Austrian Cup twice and the Austrian Bundesliga title once. During this time, Sturm Graz also participated in international competitions such as the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Champions League, earning a strong reputation across Europe for outstanding scouting and record transfers.
Recently, Rasim has dedicated himself to developing “Holistic Sports” to pursue his passion for promoting the individual development of football players.
